ENTERPRISE SERVICE BUS
Omni Director
A “pure processor” refers to an entity that exclusively focuses on the processing of financial transactions. This type of processor handles the authorization, clearing, and settlement of payments between merchants, acquiring banks, and issuing banks. A pure processor is dedicated to ensuring that transactions are processed swiftly, securely, and efficiently, without directly engaging in other aspects of the payment ecosystem such as issuing cards or acquiring merchants.
OmniPayments provides cost-efficient payment solutions that can be customized for processors. We have set already a global network with the main brands but also with local ones, which makes easy to send cross-border transactions. Our platform ensures rapid and accurate authorization of transactions, reducing the risk of declines and enhancing customer satisfaction

WHAT DOES
OmniDirector Bring?
OmniDirector is a messaging framework on HPE NonStop servers. It provides core services such as routing, data mapping and security. It supports ISO messages, JSON and XML message formats. OmniDirector can interface with legacy applications such as ACI BASE24 and FIS CONNEX. OmniDirector has adapters for Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, IBM MQ, Splunk, Oracle Tuxedo, HPE Pathway and CORBA. It supports multiple formats such as ISO8583, ISO20022, JSON and XML.
As messages flow through OmniDirector, it invokes its own authorization engine and maps incoming message formats to outgoing formats. OmniDirector can maintain context between related message interchanges and can consolidate multiple responses into a single response to the transaction initiator. All activities are logged. The solution is configurable and features can be turned on in real time. More advanced rules can be programmed in the User Exits in Java, C++, COBOL and PTAL. OmniDirector is now the core transactional engine i.e. the middleware of OmniPayments Switch.

OmniDirector Features
Efficient Load Balancing
OmniDirector supports efficient load balancing across Service Providers, thus enabling better utilization of resources and improved performance.
Intelligent Routing
Transactions are routed to preferred providers that are best suited to handle the transaction. The selection can be based on pricing, volume discounts and response times. OmniDirector rules can specify the retry and alternate routing logic to provide fail-over capabilities. .
Exception Handling
Exceptions and Timeouts are handled by retrying the transaction while maintaining the overall timeout limit of the transaction.
Connection Persistence
The OmniDirector framework provides persistent connections on both the inbound and outbound sides for better response time and efficient system utilization.
Orchestration
OmniDirector supports orchestration. Transactions can be routed to multiple authorizers sequentially or in parallel. Based on the response, it takes necessary action before sending the reply to the client. An offer could be sent to a terminal while the transaction is being authorized.
Security
OmniDirector includes complete security functions for every financial transaction that it handles, including encryption-at-rest, encryption-in-flight and tokenization through its security module OmniCrypto.
Highly Scalable
OmniDirector’s architecture isolates business, input and output components very well. New input and output interfaces can be easily plugged-in without affecting the running system. New Service Providers can be added easily. Most of the features under OmniDirector are configuration parameterized based, thus giving ample flexibility to exercise scalability features within the HPE Nonstop server.
Network Errors and Self Healing
OmniDirector is built for the HPE NonStop server and utilizes core features to provide 24x7 application availability, high scalability and fault-tolerance of the system. Link failures are handled by routing the transaction to the configured alternate path. OmniDirector also offers self-healing capability. In case of a connection failure, transactions are routed to alternate path without the need for human involvement. Our network automation tools detect and remediate outages, failures, and breaches of all kinds.
