The Servicio de Registro Civil e Identificación (SRCEI) is one of Chile’s most critical public institutions. It is responsible for issuing and managing the vital records that underpin the country’s legal certainty and framework, ranging from birth, marriage, and death certificates to national identity documents, passports, and vehicle registrations. With over 6,000 offices and 3,000 employees nationwide, SRCEI plays a foundational role in the daily lives of millions of citizens. This limitation put more than 2,000 Tuxedo services at risk, services that directly powered the country’s most vital citizen-facing applications

To resolve the Tuxedo incompatibility on the new GreenLake infrastructure, OmniPayments deployed its OmniBridge solution as application middleware.

  • Zero Code Changes: OmniPayments successfully rebuilt over 2,000 Tuxedo services using its robust, proven framework. Applications were moved to Linux/Solaris environments without altering the core codebase, drastically minimizing migration risk.
  • Exceptional Agility: The core rebuild phase was completed in less than three months. Furthermore, OmniPayments deployed on-site specialists to SRCEI’s facilities to streamline requirements validation, testing, and execution.
